EMACO vortex inhibitor is a specialized pipe fitting used to prevent initiation of vortices within fire suction tank and air entrap into suction pipe. This vortex inhibitor is fitted with the port of suction pump pipe inlet to reduce vortices inside tank and ensure the suction pump working at its maximum efficiency, greatly minimizing the air entrainment to cause cavitation. This allows the maximum possible drawdown of the liquid’s surface level and ensures the largest flow rate transmission.
